Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Ad

Certainly you've seen the Coco Mademoiselle ads featuring Keira Knightley but have you seen the new one? Peep this.

Since Pirate's of Caribbean (more on that tomorrow!) Keira's been on our radar, the whole world's beauty wise, but I've never seen her looking this great. Here's how to get the look.

The basis of the entire look is shimmery skin, smoky brown eyes and barely there lips. For this look reach for a slightly shimmery foundation like Revlon's Photo Ready. I found the shimmer to be subtle and only noticeable in the brightest of sunlight but it's present enough to soften features. Of course, you can always start with a matte base and add shimmer with a beauty powder or blush like the gorgeous ones from MAC. If you're pale like me many beauty powders can be used as a blush, choose one with peachy undertones for fair or medium skin. If you're darker look no further than MAC's mineralized blushes in a bronzy shade. These really are the only MAC products I can't live without. Add a strip down your nose, a light coat on your hairline and a dab on your chin to keep the whole look cohesive.

Next, a gorgeous smoky eye using the less harsh cocoa brown. It's perfect for the warmer months but also amazing for those of us with lighter skin and eye colors. If it were me I'd go for a shimmery shadow but it's not completely necessary, that's up to you. Urban Decay's Deluxe Shadow in Underground is the perfect mix of pigment and shimmer. It's beautiful and I love how velvety smooth these shadows are. Rim the entire eye area, including the undereye with a light wash of color, going as intense as you dare. You're definitely going to need a great mascara for this one and I'm loving the looks of Maybelline's One by One mascara, a great separating and lengthening choice. I can't wait to actually try it out but that means using up a lot of my stash first.

If you can handle it, I'd leave the lips bare or with just a light touch of balm or wear a matte rosey-brown if that's too naked for you.

Now for the fragrance itself, Chanel describes it perfectly: "Sexy, fresh Oriental fragrance recalls the irrepressible spirit of the young Coco Chanel. The most powerful, concentrated and long-lasting form of fragrance; the fullest expression of the perfumer's art. The most elegant way to wear fragrance; apply to pulse points. The scent will follow you throughout the day . . . or evening. The classic bottle signifies personal luxury and is a welcome addition to any dressing table."
