Kat Von D Get the Look

I love Kat Von D. I know she's somewhat of a villain in Hollywood right now due to the fact that she's engaged to Jesse James, ex-husband of America's Sweetheart Sandra Bullock. While I admit that Jesse is a tool, you can't judge the girl for her choice in men alone. I know, many of you probably aren't into the tatted from head to toe look and for everyday chicks it's not for me either. Kat's a psuedo-celeb and plus, her tattoos are very well done and maintained. She's made a brand for herself and despite what the haters want to think, it's awesome. I'm a huge fan of her Adora and Saint fragrances and I'm itching to get my hands on more from the collection.

The Get the Look Collection seems like the perfect place to start to me! This exclusive to Sephora, limited edition collection has a little bit of everything to get the look you want whether you're a rocker chick or a mother of five, there's something here for everyone. It's a $100 value for $54, completely unbelievable.

The Autograph pencils really caught my eye, not only for their amazing shades but also for the great reviews they have on Sephora.com. Seriously, hardly anyone has a negative word to say about these. Plus, being a rocker girl at heart I can't resist the amazing names like Black Metal Love, the shade that comes with this collection. It's a black pencil with silver microglitter that reviewers say is subtle. I love me some glittery eyeliner so it's all good to me.

The palette included in this collection is True Romance, an amazing collection of both brights and darks with a couple tamer shades thrown in for good measure in an absolutely adorable palette. This baby alone retails for $34 and has just as amazing reviews!

The Painted Love Lipstick in this kit is Celebutard (I love that name!) a simply gorgeous peachy-nude. The color seems to be very wearable as far as nudes go, a plus for me. This is a full sized product that normally retails for $18, so you're definitely getting your money's worth from this collection.

The High Voltage Eye Primers in this kit, Skin and Smoky, are minis. Apply Skin under pale or bright shades and rock Smoky under darker eye makeup to help your hard work stay on all day. This one gets raves all over the blogosphere and I simply have to try it out.

Have you tried Kat Von D Cosmetics? What about the fragrances? I have to say I didn't think I would love them as much as I do.

  1. I have the Kat Von D Metal Orchestra palette and I freaking love it. It's soooo pigmented and for like $34 at Sephora, it's so worth it. You get so much payoff for the eyeshadows in the palette and I only use it when I'm going out, because it's so dramatic.
