Garnier Moisture Rescue Gel-Cream

Now that the temps are consistently high I might venture to say that it's actually summer in my neck of the woods. You know what that means, frizzy hair, greasy skin and dry cracked sandal feet. We tackled frizzy hair yesterday and today we're moving on to greasy skin. I don't know what to tell you about those dry feet cause I need a cure myself so send those tips my way!

Even though I'm probably the driest girl on the planet come summer my skin still gets shiny. Call it what you will but I call it mean, mean, mean! I suffer through the winter months having to slather on thick cream every few hours and come summer you'd think I could just let my skin relax and do it's thing. No! Even oily skin needs hydration and Garnier Moisture Rescue Line is fabulous for the warmer months.

I tried a sample of the Moisture Rescue Gel-Cream and have to say I love the way it makes my skin feel. I can apply it to sandpaper-like skin and within 30 minutes my skin feels baby soft without being shiny or greasy in the least. My favorite part of this line, and all Garnier products in general, is the smell. It smells so delicious I wish I could eat it.

My only gripe about this product is the tub it comes in. As a long-nailed girl I find that I usually end up with more product under my nails then on my face and I hate to waste it. Sure I could always decant it to a squeeze tube but who has the time?

The line also includes a foaming cleanser (best for those with truly oily, combination or normal skin) and a lotion with SPF 15 and antioxidants (probably a better bet for those of us with an aversion to tubs of products).

The best part about these products aside from the smell is the price. Suggested retail price is $7.99 and if you're a magazine reader like moi you can always find samples with $1 coupons inside. How can you beat that for fabulous smelling products that truly work? Answer: You can't!
