TiGi Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo

Did you party a little too hard this weekend? Do you wanna look like a good little girl without waking up extra early come Monday? Have I got the solution for you, TiGi Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo. I admit, I tried it for the name but I fell in love with the product.

I've tried a few of those other dry shampoos *ahem Tresemme* and found them to be quite useless. Not only did I end up with hair that was still dirty but it actually looked (and felt) worse for wear. I'm not too finicky when it comes to my hair, I usually wear it in a messy bun and since it's so long and dry, I can get away with really washing it only twice a week. Post workout (and let's face it that's not nearly often enough) or just on those days were not sweating profusely seems to elude me I love to blast my hair with this product for an all-over matte finish and fantastic smell.

TiGi Rockaholic comes in an aerosol can like most dry shampoos but the fine mist that comes out is perfect to lightly cover roots without giving your entire bathroom a dry shampoo shower. The website claims to leave it for a minute but if you have dark hair like me you'll have to work a little quicker to distribute the product but don't worry, it's pretty much impossible to overdo. Have you seen the white cast some other products leave on your hair, you don't get that with this one!

If you're the type of girl that has hair that will just not stay put when you put it up try spraying dry shampoo over the length of your hair. It will eliminate the silky smooth, just shampoo-ed feeling to give your hair texture to hold in place. This is one of those Hollywood secrets that's just finally starting to make it's way mainstream.

I am in love with the light citrus scent. It's perfect if you spent the night in a bar or hung around with your friend who chain smokes like an addict (bad for both his/her lungs and yours so force them to quit!). You can fake your boss into thinking you spent all your free time working on that presentation you're going to ace or just figuring out a more efficient way to fold those tees if you're stuck in retail due to the recession.

I'm a huge TiGi lover and I have to admit I'm totally intrigued by Rockaholic's sister product, Dirty Secret Dry Conditioner. My locks are dry, dry, dry and this product is meant to add shine and softness to the ends, something I could definitely use. If you've tried it you gotta fill me in.

Head over to TiGihaircare.com for salons in your area. As always you get what you pay for and shopping for designer haircare should be a salon-only process. If you purchase from drugstores, mass market retailers or discount shops you may be missing out on the actual product and be using a lesser version.
